Throughout my journey, prompted by an experience that awakened my heart, I would discover that my lifelong gifts of creativity would be used in greater ways than I had even expected.  Not only would I be used to bring transformation to spaces, but also to hearts.

 

Upon graduating with a degree from The Art Institute of Dallas, I became employed by a firm specializing in high-end residential and corporate design, remodeling, and construction.   I loved my job along with the great relationships I shared there!  At times, my boss and I worked as a team on many wonderful projects.  At one point, we were selected by the Dallas Symphony Designer  Showcase to design the master bedroom.  This project won us several awards.

 

Four years later, taking the leap of faith, I headed west to the land of “oranges and walnuts”.  I thank God for His favor that opened doors of opportunity when arriving in Los Angeles as a young designer.  Months later I was hired by the largest model home design firm in southern California.  The firm worked us in teams of two producing anywhere from 12 to 14 models per team monthly.  Aside from the awe of the sunny beaches, hiking, and trips with friends to Palm Springs on weekends; I continually had to pinch myself to see if this was all real!  I embraced ...
