...every moment of this time.  Later, I was transferred to their hotel division where we designed full packages for properties that included Hyatt, Hilton, Omni, & Westin.  Our work also included high-end retirement and skilled nursing facilities.

 

The day came when I knew it was time to return to my Texas roots, the place I love.  Relocating to Houston allowed me to be close to my beloved family and friends.  For many years I had embraced the desire to have my own business.  This helped me in my resolve to hold off from seeking corporate employment.  Instead, I allowed the creative gifts to work on my behalf while I trusted for new direction in this shift of my life.  Doors began to open with several small design companies who hired me for short-term contract positions.  While establishing connections, I took other part-time jobs that were related to my field.  This time allowed me to see the other ingredients that were being formed for the future as I began my freelance business over 15 years ago.  Today, “Designs By Nesi” offers full services for residential interiors, along with home organizing, and home staging.  These other areas enable me to service my clients with much more than just a beautiful home!    I currently reside in the greater Houston area with the emphasis of my business in The Woodlands, Texas.
